Bow, London - an 'up-and-coming neighbourhood'

In 2009, Time Out magazine recognised Bow, London as one of the city's six most 'up-and-coming neighbourhoods', and with good reason. The continuing investment and property development in the years since has only served to strengthen and solidify Bow's reputation and desirability for those looking to buy property in the East End.

Close to our Bow Trinity East London apartments, you will find the much-loved Roman Road Market - situated on the oldest known trade route in Britain - where on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays you can browse for clothes and funky homeware, crafts and country sourced produce at the Farmer's Market … not to mention the home of 'London's finest pie and mash'!

Flowers, food and drink near our East London apartments

Sunday's Columbia Road Flower Market is another East End tradition with its heady aromas of exotic plants and flowers, selling everything from bedding plants to banana trees. Columbia Road itself is also home to around sixty independent shops - vintage clothing and antique stores sit alongside excellent cake shops, Italian delis, cafés and small art galleries.

The Bow Bells and the Morgan Arms are well-known local pubs with great, friendly atmospheres - or why not head to Bow Wharf where the famous canal-side Victorian factories are now home to a gym, fashionable and modern bars and galleries? The stylish glass malls of Canary Wharf and the Docklands are within easy reach of our East London apartments - only a matter of minutes away via the Docklands Light Railway (DLR).

Relaxation ... and history

Bow may have its energetic and vibrant side, but it does have its quieter moments too. Our apartments are only a short distance from the beautiful Mile End Park, a unique park land developed and expanded over the last half Century with a number of fascinating features, including several play and adventure areas for children.

The Mile End Art Pavilion, a breathtaking gallery space overlooking a small lake, is a regular home to a wide variety of art and photography exhibitions by both professional artists and local students. The park is bordered on the west and north by Regent's Canal and Hertford Union Canal, making it ideal for slow and peaceful walks along the waterside.

Bow, London also has a rich local heritage, with a recorded history stretching back to the original village settlement in the 12th Century. Geoffrey Chaucer mentioned the nearby Priory of St Leonards in his Canterbury Tales - and the area also played a pivotal role in the Suffragette movement in the early 20th Century, with Sylvia Pankhurst's group working from a baker's shop in Bow Road to secure votes for women.

Flats in Bow - a travel nexus

The Bow Trinity apartments are also perfectly situated for travel around London by either the Tube or the DLR. Our flats in Bow are only a few minutes' walk from public transport links to the City, Canary Wharf, the West End ... and so much more.
